Von Lehmann

With over 25 years of teaching experience, Von began playing guitar at age twelve and joined his first band at age thirteen. Practising almost eight hours a day, he quickly gained control of the instrument and all its intricacies. This allowed Von to focus on song writing / composition and cross over into other instruments such as drums, bass and piano.

Von currently also teaches guitar classes for children at St Gertrude's Parish, Smithfield.

And has also previously taught guitar at the International Conservatorium of Music for two years.

Vons band As Angels Bleed released their first album in 2013 and will feature the vocals of Avelina De Moray and the guitar, drums and bass of Von Lehmann..

Liza Gudkova

Liza Gudkova

Liza started playing classical piano at age of 6 whilst living in Russia.

She has completed the 7th grade AMEB exam for which she received an A+ with high distinctions.

Liza attended Campbelltown Performing Arts High School where she graduated year 12, and came first in her class for music.

With almost ten years teaching experience under her belt, Liza has enjoyed teaching Classical Piano from home, and also at JAM studios in Campbelltown since the age of 15.

She is currently a Member of progressive metal band Carmeria, for which she plays live keyboards. Carmeria have released as EP entitled ‘Awakening’ and are currently writing their first full length album. Liza has years of live performance experience, and has had the honor of playing at several large Sydney venues such as The Factory Theatre and Metro Theatre.

Avelina De Moray

Avelina De Moray

Avelina will be on maternity leave from May 2016.

Avelina is an accomplished vocalist, guitarist & violinist and has been professionally involved in the music industry for the last ten years.

Avelina has worked with some of the countries top record producers responsible for such artists as Grinspoon, Charlton Hill and Sandrine and has co-written songs with one of the worlds top song writer/producers Kim Fowley, best known for his work with Kiss and Alice Cooper.

Avelina currently also teaches at Westfields Sports High in Fairfield West, preparing both Violin, Singing and Piano students for their HSC performances and general private music tuition.

Avelina previously worked at Songzu, Sydney's premiere advertising company, you may have heard her voice on many popular TV commercials.

Avelina is also the singer of the band As Angels Bleed.

Cleo Ha

Cleo Ha

Cleo has been playing the violin for the last 20 years. She started when she was 3 years old on a 1/32 size violin. When she was just 6 years old, she had the opportunity to play at the Opera House & in her 5th year of playing the violin, she played Mozart’s Concerto in A Major with the Mosman Orchestra. One of Cleo’s bigger highlights of her younger violin playing experience was when she sat for her 8th grade AMEB exam and passed with an A (High Distinction) at age 11.

In the year 2004, Cleo was accepted into the Sydney Conservatorium School of Music She currently studies at the University of Sydney where she spent her first three years undertaking her Bachelor of Music studies and she is currently undertaking her Bachelor of Arts as she is doing a double degree.

In 2010 Cleo joined TangoOz, which is a part of the Sydney Youth Orchestra that specializes in authentic Tango Music from Argentina. Under the wonderful care and guidance of Maggie Ferguson who was her Tango Music teacher at that time, she also learned how to play the Bandoneon; an extremely beautiful yet difficult instrument.

Teaching the violin has been and will always be an important part of Cleo's life.

Dianne Vuong

Dianne Vuong

Dianne Vuong started playing piano at the age of 6, and has been playing classical piano and piano for leisure for 11 years since 2006.

Dianne completed her 8th grade practical AMEB Examination in 2012 and in 2016 has returned to study the AMEB Certificate Teacher of Music Australia (CTMusA) as well as the AMEB Certificate of Performance (CMusA).

She has also completed her 5th grade Musicianship Theory AMEB Examination in 2013.

Dianne has participated in the school musical band in her senior years in Secondary Education and has achieved a high band 5 in Music 1 for her Higher School Certificate (HSC) in 2014. She also was chosen and was rewarded a Janet Black Music Award in 2012.

She is currently studying a double degree in the Bachelor of Arts and Primary Education (majoring in Music) in her 2nd year at Macquarie University, as well as undertaking her Certificate of Performance. Meanwhile, she has experiences in teaching Piano since 2013, having her own private piano tutoring, as well as working at other piano studios.

Dianne has a big passion for music and is always delighted to teach kids. She will continuously improve her ways of teaching to match accordingly to each student’s capability and individuality. While the students are gaining musical knowledge, Dianne highly encourages her students to connect with the music and to just have fun!

Mylynn Tran

Mylynn Tran

Mylynn has been playing classical piano since the age of 7.

She completed her first Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB) piano exam at the Conservatorium of Music the same year, in which she received a High Distinction.

Mylynn has completed her Grade 8 AMEB Piano exam and is currently studying her Certificate in Teaching Music Studies (CTmusA) with the AMEB, aiming to complete it within the next year.

She has also completed the AMEB 5th Grade Musicianship Exam. Mylynn completed the Higher School Certificate Music 1 course in which she graudated with a Band 6.

Mylynn aims to pass on her passion and knowledge of the piano to her students, equipping students with the performance and technical skills that will see them excel no matter which path they decide to pursue in music.

Jesse Turner

Jesse Turner

Jesse has been playing guitar for 12 years and teaching for 5 years. Having studied through the Berklee College of Music in Boston and at the Australian Institute of Music, Jesse has had the privilage of working closely with some of the biggest names in the guitar world; such as Steve Vai, Chris Brooks, Carl Dewhurst and Rod Mitchell to name a few.

Having studied in all sorts of genres such as Jazz, Acoustic, Classical, Blues, Funk, Soul, Gospel, Spanish Flamenco, Fusion, Rock, Metal, Progressive Rock/Metal, Pop, RnB, Rap and Hip hop. Jesse currently specialises in improvisation in all genres and lead guitar.

Whether you want to learn to play other artist's music on the acoustic or electric, write your own music or learn/compose solos like your favourite players, he can help! Through encouraging creativity amongst his students, Jesse keeps his lessons engaging, inspiring and fun!

Diana Rojas

Diana Rojas

Diana Rojas started singing when she was five years of age and has over of decade of live performance experience from her active involvement in English and Spanish community events.

She completed her first CPM Singing exam at the consevatorium of Music with the Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB) at the tender age of 9, for whichshe received a grade of High Distinction

She was one of the youngest students to ever complete their Level 1 exam. Diana has since completed all four of the Contemporary Popular Music (CPM) vocal exams for which she recieved Distinctions.

Since 2009, Diana has performed at many festivals and competitions, such as the Darling Harbour festival and the Bondi Festival. She also performs for festivals in her local community such as the ‘Bring it on Festival’ and charity events such as ‘Relay for life'.

Since 2012, Diana has performed annually at the Royal Easter Show and has been part of musical productions such as Oliver, Mackillop; (which toured Melbourne), Joseph and the Technicolour Dream Coat and The Wiz. All musicals were presented at the Seymour theatre, Sydney.

In 2013, Diana was selected to perform in Los Angeles with Catholic Schools Performing Arts (CaSPA).

Diana continues to perform, singing music in both English and Spanish, and wishes to continue with her passion for music for as long as she can.
