Liza Gudkova

Liza is the manager of Fairfield School of Music and is a fully qualified AMEB teacher, with 9 years of teaching experience.

Liza has been playing classical and contemporary piano for the last 20 years. Moving from Russia in 2002, she was selected to attend Campbelltown Performing Arts High School majoring in piano, and had completed HSC with top results. She is now c

ompleting a Bachelor of Music majoring in Classical Piano at Australian Institute of Music. Apart from teaching piano, Liza and her partner run a recording studio, where she composes for and develops artists. She is experienced in various genres of music, and has been composing and performing on stage since she was 14.

Omid

Omid

Omid is a piano teacher, theory tutor, and orchestral conductor. Omid’s curiosity and love for learning and performing is a part of what makes him a great teacher and his students have achieved many successes thanks to his nurturing guidance. Omid uses a flexible teaching style including techniques such as Suzuki, Orff, and AMEB methods.

He is currently undergoing a BMus in classical piano performance at the Australian Institute of Music, under the supervision of Dr Wojciech Wisniewski and Dr Suzanna Hlinka. He has performed piano at The Australian Hall, Sydney TAFE Gallery, and Sydney Town Hall and is multilingual in English, French, Farsi and basic Arabic.

He is also the assistant conductor of Fisher Ghost Youth Orchestra, guest conductor with the Sydney Male Voice Choir, and on a scholarship to study under Sara-Grace William’s supervision with The Metropolitan Orchestra. Soon to finish his degree, Omid hopes to continue further studying in piano performance and conduct internationally.

Omid has several years of teaching experience and conducting and is able to bring the soul and meaning of each piece to life.

Antoine Mallia

Avelina De Moray

Antoine Mallia is a 24-year-old who graduated from the Australian Institute of Music in in 2018, in which he received a "Diploma in Music Audio".

Antoine has had 5 years of teaching experience, and has had the honour ot teaching at many of Sydneys reputable music schools. We are pleased to know have him as a member of our teaching family.

He is specialised in various genres including rock, blues, jazz, metal, and contemporary pop.

Aside from teachin he has spent three years playing in a cover band called Hitmix under Flipside Entertainment Management, and is currently the lead guitarist of an original Sydney metal band called Snowleopard.

Evelyn Norman

Evelyn Norman

Evelyn Norman grew up in the small town of "Anza" in Southern CA, USA, and moved to Bozeman, MT with her family in 2006.

She graduated from Montana State University (MSU) in 2013 with a dual degree in Music and Business Management and a minor in Hispanic Studies. She has been playing the violin for almost 16 years and has 10 years of private teaching experience as well as playing in a chamber orchestra and in several string quartets at MSU.

Evelyn had the opportunity to travel to South East Asia with the MSU Symphony Orchestra where they performed in various universities and performance venues around Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore. She studied violin under the direction of Angella Ahn (Julliard Masters graduate and member of the acclaimed Ahn Trio), who, to this day, is one of her biggest musical inspirations.

Since moving to Australia in 2016, Evelyn has had the opportunity to teach at various music schools around Sydney and loves playing violin at Hillsong Church. Some of her hobbies consist of traveling, spending time with friends and family and exploring the beautiful outdoors!

Annabel Xiao

Annabel Xiao

Annabel has first started learning the piano at the age of 5. Throughout her primary through high school years she’s competed in numerous piano competitions; and has earned herself many awards from the Ryde and Penrith Eisteddfod.

Annabel has studied both Music 2 and Music Extension subjects at Northmead Creative and Performing Arts High School for her HSC. She has completed HSC (High School Certificate) results with a Band 5 in Music 2 and Band 6 in Music Extension.

She has also reached the level of AMUSA (Association in Music, Australia) and completed 5th Grade Theory of Music in the AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board).

She has also taught at Fairfield School of Music for 5 year now and wish to continue with more exciting and innovative lessons for her students. She has a strong passion and desire in teaching piano to all students of age. Currently she has students ranging from the age of 5 to 60.

She has also graduated at University of Technology, Sydney and is currently studying for a Certificate III Early Childhood to have a better understanding of preschool students learning strategies and expand her student age range further.

Dianne Vuong

Dianne Vuong

Dianne Vuong started playing piano at the age of 6, and has been playing classical piano and piano for leisure for 11 years since 2006.

Dianne completed her 8th grade practical AMEB Examination in 2012 and in 2016 has returned to study the AMEB Certificate Teacher of Music Australia (CTMusA) as well as the AMEB Certificate of Performance (CMusA).

She has also completed her 5th grade Musicianship Theory AMEB Examination in 2013.

Dianne has participated in the school musical band in her senior years in Secondary Education and has achieved a high band 5 in Music 1 for her Higher School Certificate (HSC) in 2014. She also was chosen and was rewarded a Janet Black Music Award in 2012.

She is currently studying a double degree in the Bachelor of Arts and Primary Education (majoring in Music) in her 2nd year at Macquarie University, as well as undertaking her Certificate of Performance. Meanwhile, she has experiences in teaching Piano since 2013, having her own private piano tutoring, as well as working at other piano studios.

Dianne has a big passion for music and is always delighted to teach kids. She will continuously improve her ways of teaching to match accordingly to each student’s capability and individuality. While the students are gaining musical knowledge, Dianne highly encourages her students to connect with the music and to just have fun!

Mylynn Tran

Mylynn Tran

Mylynn’s love for the piano started at the age of 7.

She completed her first Australian Music Examination Board piano exam at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in the same year in which she received a high distinction.

Mylynn has completed her Certificate Teacher of Music, Australia (CTmusA) and her Grade 8 Performance exams with the AMEB. She is currently studying for her Associate Teacher of Music, Australia exam and aiming to complete it by 2020.

Mylynn has also completed her Grade 5 Musicianship Written exam. She completed the Higher School Certificate Music 1 course in which she graduated on the Distinguished Achievers list.

Mylynn is currently studying at the University of Sydney and aims to pass on her passion and knowledge of the piano onto her students.

Yianni Adams

Yianni

Yianni Adams is a Sydney session guitarist, multi-instrumentalist and producer in his early 20s who has been playing music since he was 10. He has gained experience playing on a number of famous Sydney stages including the Metro Theatre, the Factory Theatre, the Fusebox, the Lair, the Basement and Oxford Art Factory as well as touring within Australia.

Graduating from the Australian Institute of Music with a bachelors of contemporary music, Yianni embraces all styles of guitar including jazz, blues, funk, pop and more, allowing his lessons to be cohesive without limitations of genres, styles or techniques. Yianni’s deep understanding of music theory, song writing as well as music production has allowed him to create a name and brand for himself, leaving a mark on the Sydney music scene.

Yianni can teach guitar & bass, covering all genres of music & specialises in blues, jazz and soul.

Diana Rojas

Diana Rojas

Diana Rojas started singing when she was five years of age and has over of decade of live performance experience from her active involvement in English and Spanish community events.

She completed her first CPM Singing exam at the consevatorium of Music with the Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB) at the tender age of 9, for whichshe received a grade of High Distinction

She was one of the youngest students to ever complete their Level 1 exam. Diana has since completed all four of the Contemporary Popular Music (CPM) vocal exams for which she recieved Distinctions.

Since 2009, Diana has performed at many festivals and competitions, such as the Darling Harbour festival and the Bondi Festival. She also performs for festivals in her local community such as the ‘Bring it on Festival’ and charity events such as ‘Relay for life'.

Since 2012, Diana has performed annually at the Royal Easter Show and has been part of musical productions such as Oliver, Mackillop; (which toured Melbourne), Joseph and the Technicolour Dream Coat and The Wiz. All musicals were presented at the Seymour theatre, Sydney.

In 2013, Diana was selected to perform in Los Angeles with Catholic Schools Performing Arts (CaSPA).

Diana continues to perform, singing music in both English and Spanish, and wishes to continue with her passion for music for as long as she can.
